Vegan food!?

I'll admit, I'm not usually one to out of my way for vegan or vegetarian food. However, a friend happened to stumble upon this ramen spot and showed me pictures. It was a gorgeous restaurant so I had to check it out for myself!

The place was designed by Team Labs and I am a huge fan of their work. The food was vegan, but it was so delicious that I never would have guessed. I went once with Joe and then a second time with Echo. Look at these amazing dishes and this serene dining room. If you're ever in Kyoto or Tokyo, I highly recommend swinging by for a try!

Can't forget the vegan sushi! It's avocado, spinach, and wasabi:

Even though it's a ramen place, I couldn't eat any because I'm allergic to wheat. But that's okay! I tried some broth and it was really nice.

Here's the ice cream dessert. The sauce is a sugar cane syrup and it's to die for.

I really enjoyed viewing the art, listening to music, and watching everyone have a nice time together. I'll definitely visit this place again! Here's a time-lapse of the art:
